The Universal Yoga Sports Federation (UYSF) successfully organized the UYSF Malaysia Yogasana Sports Championship 2026 on 18 July 2026 at Kandiah Hall, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The championship witnessed an overwhelming response from the Malaysian Yogasana community, bringing together 157 athletesrepresenting 7 states across Malaysia.
The championship featured competitions across multiple age groups and divisions, including 5–8 Years, 9–11 Years, 12–14 Years, 15–17 Years, Adults (18–49 Years), and Masters (50+ Years). Participants demonstrated remarkable flexibility, balance, strength, discipline, and artistic excellence while competing under the official UYSF Yogasana Sports judging standards.
The event served as an important platform for young athletes to showcase their talent and further strengthened the development of competitive Yogasana Sports in Malaysia. The championship highlighted the growing popularity of Yogasana as a sport and reflected the dedication of coaches, parents, officials, and volunteers who contributed to its successful execution.
The competition concluded with the presentation of Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals to outstanding performers in various categories, recognizing excellence and sportsmanship. The official ranking and medal list included performances from both National and International divisions, celebrating athletes who achieved exceptional scores throughout the championship.
Speaking after the event, UYSF officials expressed their gratitude to all participating athletes, coaches, state associations, judges, volunteers, and supporters for making the championship a memorable success.
